The United Arab Emirates’ telecom authority announced this week that BlackBerry data access will be blocked. Beginning October 11th the BlackBerry will be reduced to being just a cell phone while in the UAE. This means users would no longer be able to access BlackBerry messaging, email, and the internet. A German computer engineer announced he had deciphered and published the security code used to encrypt most of the world’s cell phone calls. Karsten Nohl said the G.S.M.
