Xavier Jones was saved by his coach’s quick thinking and the coach’s iPhone. Jones, a La Verne Lutheran School basketball star in California, owes his life to his 2 coaches and an iPhone app,. According to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune and the Los Angeles Times, Coach Eric Cooper downloaded iPhone app Phone Aid, which taught him how to perform CPR. The very next day, Coach Cooper used this knowledge to save his student, Xavier Jones, when Jones collapsed during practice. The new Android app, Recognizr, would allow you to use your cell phone camera to snoop out someone’s identity. You could take a photo of someone’s face, and then know that person’s name, schedule, profile, and latest tweets. Created by the Swedish development company, The Astonishing Tribe, the new app in development would bring a whole new level to the lack of privacy.
