Gary Arendash, University of South Florida in Tampa, reports that exposure to cell phone radiation has decreased the plaque causing Alzheimer’s Disease in mice. Overuse of your cell phone may cause nerve inflammation or numbness in your hand. Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, also known as “cell phone elbow,” is caused when the arm is bent too long, (as from holding a cell phone to your ear), putting tension on the ulnar nerve, which runs from under the collarbone, down along the inside of the elbow to the pinky finger.
