Afraid your mom can’t learn how to use a Smartphone? The new “Out of the Box” Smartphone tutorial may be just the ticket. The idea is to place the Smartphone in the cut out in the book and use the easy to follow arrows to click and perform the tasks you want to learn. It’s a hands-on way to learn your Smartphone. It kind of reminds me of the big pre-school books with touch texture and play sounds.

This tutorial design is not made for the techno geeks. This is a fail safe way for the technology challenged to learn how to use their Smartphones. And for those people, this may finally be the way to teach them how to use text messaging. (If their egos will allow them to use such a child like tool…)
The “Out of the Box” learning tool is not eco-friendly. Most people are going to be too embarrassed to use it. I give it a thumbs up for concept, but not for practicality.
