What does this means to those of us non-technical people? Instead of transmitting sound using a speaker through a grill, which could muffle it, the new technology would actually turn the cell phone case into the speaker. The bottom line is that it would make it possible to reduce the size and weight of the phone itself.
Pretty soon a cell phone will be as thin as a credit card. Technology is working faster than the market can keep up with. Americans are gadget oriented and want the latest technology as soon as it hits the market. The question is always, do you wait for the latest and greatest version to come out, or buy now and upgrade later?
Looks like we have lots of treats in store! HTC’s new patent pending technology will also change lots of other electronic devices like laptop computers and mobile devices (iPad, MP3 players, etc.) Where does your imagination take you on this new technology?
