“Better Off Ted,” a TV series on Hulu Network, offers us a spoof on how to better “green” the world. The TV show clip takes place at Veridian Dynamics, a corporation that will make anything for anyone regardless of ethical, moral, or biological consequences. The new technology uses a probe inserted into your targeted area of body fat and extracts it to be used as an energy source to power your cell phone.
Charge Your Cell Phone with Your Body Fat
The clip is hilariously entertaining as it shows making a call “from Phil’s fat.” While this is a spook on green technology, I wouldn’t be surprised by similar technology. (See my blog Coca Cola, not just a soft drink, discussing a cell phone powered by Coca Cola.)
