Air Vortex really a black hole?

Free Energy

The latest and greatest idea for free energy is the harnessing of the air turbulence created in the wake of your moving vehicle. The experimental device takes advantage of the air flowing past your vehicle as you speed down the road. Apparently the motion creates an energy vortex that can be stored and used as a clean alternative source of energy.

Air Vortex really a black hole?

While this technology isn’t exactly new, (your gas grill already uses a similar technology to start when you push the ignition button), researchers are now experimenting with being able to store this energy. And while only a small amount of usable energy is converted this way, it is FREE.

There are a few catches though, for apparently the larger the surface of the vehicle, the more energy that will be generated, AND the amount captured and stored is too small for much use. It will never power your car, but will perhaps provide enough energy to power your cell phone or iPod.

Does this mean we will stop seeing sleek aerodynamic vehicles in the future? Will we return to the bulky, cumbersome autos of the past? I can just see boxy, tank-like cars racing down the highways. Will these air vortex creating cars actually defeat the fuel saving feature of the sleek bullet-like cars?

I can’t seem to wrap my brain around any real practical application for this device. What happens if you’re stuck in traffic and your cell phone battery is low? Dropped signals due to lack of air? Does it works as well in wet or icy weather? I think the inventors may just be full of hot air…. What do you think?
